The Blackmonkeys, fresh from their induction into the BASHandSlash.com CoD Hall of Fame, have informed us that version 0.8b (still a beta) of their Call of Duty 4, Star Wars-inspired, Galactic Warfare modification is out!

The new version contains the three new maps: Bespin, Bestine and Not A Cave, and a revised Mos Eisley. As well, there are new weapons and also a new game type called Very Important Droid (VID).

The number one issue I have heard about this impressive community mod was that there weren’t enough maps…well the three new ones should fix that.

There have been 50,000+ downloads of the mod and 700,000 pairs of eyeballs have watched their Galactic Warfare trailers on YouTube.
